Translation Service (TS)
- Providing translation of written communication from English into the respective EM languages.
- TS is provided UPON REQUEST BY PUBLIC SERVICE PROVIDERS and；
- For documents where NO SPECIALIZED/PROFESSIONAL TERMINOLOGY is involved.

- Eligible materials for translation or proof- reading services are information that promote EM’s access to public service/ service information, such as a brief introduction to services of a centre, a programme or scheme.
Public service providers can send their request via fax (+852 3106 0455), email (tis-cheer@hkcs.org) or apply online. Reply for TS/PS will be made via email within 24 hours.
Translation for 800 words documents from English to one of the eight respective languages/dialects would take around 14 working days. Please contact us for requests above 800 words.
Service charges are as follows:
For public service providers from Government Departments:
- $2.00 per English word to One respective language (Minimum charge is $300).
- Service fee is waived for NGOs and Schools.
For Private unit:
- $5.00 per English word to One respective language (Minimum charge is $300).
Proof-reading Service (PS)
- Providing proof-reading service on the respective EM languages.
- PS is provided UPON REQUEST BY PUBLIC SERVICE PROVIDERS and；
- For documents where NO SPECIALIZED/PROFESSIONAL TERMINOLOGY is involved.
