Promote awareness on cervical cancer and cervical screening

Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers among females in Hong Kong; yet it is well proven to be preventable through regular cervical screening. The Family Health Service of the Department of Health provides subsidised cervical screening to eligible women, appointment can be scheduled through the 24-hour Phone Booking and Information Hotline at 3166 6631.

To promote the awareness on cervical cancer and cervical screening, we have developed health promotional materials which can be found in the designated webpage of Cervical Screening Programme (https://www.cervicalscreening.gov.hk/en/resources.html). They are designed to educate women about the risk factors and symptoms of cervical cancer, the importance of regular cervical screening, and where to get screened.

We wish to solicit your support in disseminating the above health messages and materials to the intended audience through your network.  The pamphlets and posters for promoting cervical screening can be requested online at the Centre for Health Protection’s website (https://www2.chp.gov.hk/eform/Notice.aspx).
