The Hong Kong Observatory has announced that it will consider issuing the Gale or Storm Signal No. 8 in the early hours of tomorrow. Please take the following precautionary measures, including but not limited to:
- Stay tuned to the latest updates on the tropical cyclone issued by the Hong Kong Observatory;
- Check for any broken windows and address them promptly;
- Lock all windows and doors, and apply adhesive tape to large, exposed window panes;
- Park vehicles in a safe and sheltered location;
- Avoid standing near windows on the exposed side of your home. Ensure you have a safe space to take shelter in case windows are broken;
- Stay away from shorelines and refrain from engaging in water sports; and
- Take necessary precautions against flooding, especially in low-lying areas.
