On April 30, Ms Priscilla TO, JP, Director of Home Affairs, Mr TE, JP, Deputy Director of Home Affairs, and Mr Denny HO, JP, Home Affairs Department District Officer (Kwun Tong) accompanied by our Director Ms Yvonne CHAK visited the CHEER Centre located in Kwun Tong.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

During the visit, staff members of the Ethnic Minority Care Team shared their work approaches and effectiveness in engaging with ethnic minority residents through community outreach and home visits. Ms TO toured the centre\u2019s youth programmes, interacting with ethnic minority youth to understand their participation in the centre\u2019s services. Additionally, she also visited the interpretation and translation centre, learning how it facilitates access to public services for ethnic minorities and supports their integration into the community.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
