Maternal and Child Health Centres
The Department of Health (DH) provides a comprehensive range of health promotion and disease prevention services for children from birth to 5 years and women at or below 64 years of age through its network of Maternal and Child Health Centres (MCHCs).
Their services include:
(1) Provide immunization, developmental surveillance, hearing and vision screening tests for children as well as parenting programme for parents and care-takers;
(2) Provide antenatal and postnatal care for all pregnant women;
(3) Provide family planning and cervical screening service for women.
