Employment Services provided by Labour department:

The employment services of Labour department are offered to the job seekers who are legally employable in HKSAR, including those holding Hong Kong Identity Card OR valid travel document with an endorsement by the HK Immigration Department for employment in Hong Kong within a specific period which has not yet expired. If you are not sure whether you are legally employable in HKSAR, please visit the Immigration Department’s website at http://www.immd.gov.hk

For registration of the employment services of labour department, either you may Register Online or Register in person in any Job Centre (Opening Hours：Mon – Fri 9:00a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; Sat 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m.; Sun and Public Holidays Closed. Addresses & Telephones please refer to the table shown below). After registration you can:

(1) Search jobs online.

(2) Search jobs by going to Job Centers of Labour department.

(3) Obtain job information in the recruitment activities.

(4) Receive Job Alerts by email if you have already registered.

You may also contact the employers directly if their contact information are shown on the jobs OR you may call the Employment Service Hotline at 2969 0888 OR approach the job centres for referral. If online application is available, you may use the department’s Apply Online system.
