Employment rights and benefits
If you have problems about your employment rights and benefits, you may seek free assistance from the Labour Relations Division of the Labour Department. They can provide:
- Consultation service;
- Conciliation service for you and your employer to help resolve disputes;
- Information on your rights and obligations under the Employment Ordinance and your employment contract.
If your employer is suspected to have breached the Employment Ordinance and you agree to be the prosecution witness, the Labour Relations Division will refer your complaint to the relevant divisions of the Department for investigation.
